After 5years of experience as a lab technician in the late Paolo Sassone-Corsi Laboratory at the University of California, Irvine, Shoko joined the Sato Lab. She has experience dealing with 20+ transgenic mutant colonies in 5 years, 3500+ mice at a time, and genotyping/maintaining all mice and mating for expanding the colonies to assist postdocs in their animal experiments. She was excited to move back to Texas and enjoys her new life in College Station with her husband, human baby (Nalu), and fur babies (Corsi and Hora), except for the crazy Texas heat!
